We have been doing the beach wheelchairs for about six years now. We started Siesta Key Beach Wheelchairs because we were always repairing PVC and bolted together wheelchairs that other companies were renting out. They were always getting broken and were held together by duck take and and zip-ties it seemed like. It was unbelievable that people were having to try and get their loved ones down to the waters edge with these poorly put together contraptions. So I began designing my own. I already owned a paddleboard/kayak rental business so it was a no-brainer to add these to the list of equipment anyways.
My first design was WIDE
It worked fantastic but it was to wide for some gates. So I came up with the design I still use today. It works amazing for people of all sizes and shapes. And it fits through all the small gates! Please give me a call if I can help you get out to the beach! 941-301-8776
